sszentronics ('we', 'us', 'our') operates a multi-vendor software marketplace at sszentronics.com. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this platform.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email address, payment details, business information for vendors) and information generated automatically when you use the platform (log data, device information, pages visited, purchase history, and authentication tokens).

3. How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your account, process purchases and payouts, deliver software entitlements, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets), improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Vendors and third parties

When you purchase a product, relevant order information (not payment card details) is shared with the vendor of that product so they can fulfill the order. We use Google and GitHub for optional social sign-in, and Stripe or equivalent processors for payments. Each third party has its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in.

6. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for seven years for legal and tax purposes. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us — tax and fraud-prevention records will be retained as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@sszentronics.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, encrypted storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@sszentronics.com.

9. Children

sszentronics is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date below and, for material changes, notify registered users by email.
